The Upgrade Station is a functional furniture item used to increase the level/statistics of weapons, tools, armor and accessories in exchange for various materials. Items can be upgraded up to a maximum level of 20.
Interacting with the Upgrade Station opens a menu with two slots; the player places the item they want to upgrade in the left slot, and the right slot displays a preview of the item at its next level. If the player has sufficient materials, pressing the button with the yellow arrow will upgrade the item and consume the materials.
Items that have been upgraded at least once will have a 
blue icon in the top-left corner of their item slot. Items at max level will have a 
yellow icon instead.
