The Materializer is a mechanism that spawns an enemy clone based on the figurine placed inside. It requires electricity to function.

Only one clone can be spawned at a time from the same Materializer; another will not spawn until the first is killed. Clones have the same behavior and statistics as the original, but do not drop any loot. They also have a cyan outline visible in darkness.

Only figurines with a brown base can be placed inside the Materializer. Notably, this excludes boss figurines.

• Seasonal figurines (e.g. the Bakery Brute Figurine) will spawn their original enemy.

Tips

• You are able to increase your melee combat, range combat, Magic, Summoning, and vitality skills by defeating enemies spawned by the Materializer.

• 0.7.4.0-6fbe: Fixed an issue with the Materializer always playing spawn effects when entering the screen if any enemy spawned from it was active.
• 0.7.0.4-fe7b:
  • Larva spawning from a Cocoon that in turn spawned from a Materializer will now also act as temporary spawns that do not drop loot.
  • Fixed so the outline indicating an enemy spawned from a Materializer shows for Cocoons as well.
